beach ed

on Tuesday we went to Pointchev beach. My favourite bit about the beach was swimming. WE had competition. and had fun.

Cultural Festival

On Saturday I went to the Cultural  Festival at Rocket Park . there was plenty of foods from different cultures I enjoyed the performances my favourite was the Scottish group and I met my friends at the cultural festival

on Tuesday November the 5th.e had athletics day.only Puriri and Kauri  went to athletics at Lovelock track it was really fun yet scorching hot and tiring but I enjoyed it still athletics athletics day was a fun day for all of us I especially enjoyed long jump .

Fish Island

The boy grabbed on to the boat. Gracefully, the boy paddle until he found a little cottage on top of what it seemed like a...........fish? lucky for him it was still asleep but for how much Longer?  They were really moving. They could see ripples forming in the water below. 

Finally, we reached were ever the friendly was beast was going. I pared to one of the side of the fish, and saw thousands of tiger sharks. Witch is unusual because tiger sharks hunt alone. The Fiercest tyrants tried to bite the beast. But they were no match for the speed of the fish. But what about the island.  It began to loosen. Finally I knew why the fish took us to the bridge this. was the only way out.  There  is no turning back now.

Foolishly, he stepped on one of the husky’s tales. The boy heard some ferocious growling. He ran but it was too slippery it was too late. The ground  beneath him began to shatter . he ran as fast as he could he jumped on to a wooden sled and landed on  nice solid land. He was relieved that he was safe again.

Art Exhibition

There are many art pieces throughout the school. We are celebrating Art and Artists for Owairaka's 90th Birthday.

In Room 24 we were doing Picasso art, 2D and 3D. I learned that Picasso likes to do art in different and imaginable ways. He said that every kid is an artist.

A mountaineer slowly walked up the snowy mountain. He used thin metal poles. The sun begins to get dim as he gets to the top. The sky was as blue as sapphire. He was amazed by the view at the top.

Last week it was Cook Island Language Week and we taught juniors how to make a tivaetivae. I enjoyed making a tivaevae.

Green week

This week It's Green week. We are learning about native birds. This morning Room 24 Went to a Bird Talk. Miss best Talked about native birds And pest.The Fact I found Most Interesting Was That The Morepork And The Falcon Both have similar features .What do you think is the most rare New Zealand bird ?

The best artwork in the universe

This term we have been learning about space. This week we did artwork that is out of this world.  My favourite part was creating Saturn’s rings. To make the stars we made plus signs and smudged the ends of them. This made them look realistic.

Dont give up!!

On Monday we did Cross Country. I felt excited and I really enjoyed running outside the school. I especially enjoyed beating Keisomani. The hardest bit of the run was steps.

Are special guest

Yesterday we had a special guest to visit Kauri team. She was well known for boxing. She has been in the Commonwealth Games and the Olympic Games. In 2018, she won a bronze medal.

I learned that you should never give up, never say never and be courageous and confident.

On Wednesday at Garden to Table, Nadia Lim and Aaron from Dancing with the Stars came to garden and cook with us. She filmed us and ate with us. I had lots of fun.
