songs and sounds

today we tried to create volume and pitch using all sorts of instruments. I learnt that the longer or the bigger the instrument it will make a lower pitch. but the shorter or the thinner the instrument is the higher the pitch will be.

Seeing Sound

Yesterday we did a sound experiment we tried using cups and string to see if we could hear each other.  We also tried to make sprinkles move on plastic wrap using vibration. I learnt that a square box will not work but a round bowl will work and the sprinkles will jump around from vibrations.

Bradley's monster

This week we are reading a book about a boy being bullied and was called a monster. The boy drew a Monster and this is what I think it looks like.
